It always gets me thinking when I see or read about what cheap food imports – that would generally make us feel like “Oh more food and even more abundance!”  – can do to farmers and the economy…

India is quite rigid about its food imports which I find commendable in terms of the country remaining independent from others for food. However, it has not particularly solved the problem of food insecurity for many.
